• The Cairo Airport Shuttle bus connects many areas of Cairo with the airport, including Zamalek, Nasr City, downtown, El Mohandiseen and El Maadi. This is a 24/7 service that should be booked in advance.
• Some local buses will take you to Cairo Airport bus station (about a 15 minute walk to the airport), namely the 111 route from Shobra and the 381 from Bulaq Dakrur terminal. From Bulaq Dakrur the journey can take up to one hour 40 minutes including the walk at the end.
• Uber and taxis also operate to and from Cairo Airport.
